NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior Megan Caporossi (Northford, Conn.) of the softball team and senior Richard Jackson (New Rochelle, N.Y.) of the men’s track and field team have been named as the Comcast/Southern Connecticut State University Athletes of the Month for May.

Joseph Poulsen Earns USTFCCCA All-Region Team Laurels

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Junior Joseph Poulsen (Oxford, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men’s cross-country team was an East All-Region team selection on Tuesday, as announced by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Poulsen finished seventh overall at the NCAA East Regional Championships on Sunday with a time of 32:02.9.

Poulsen has now become an All-Region team selection for the third straight year as a member of the cross country team and has improved on his overall finish each season at the East Regional Championships.
