EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Southern Connecticut State University senior Laura Brustolon (Mystic, Conn.) narrowly missed out on All-America honors on Saturday’s NCAA Division II Women’s Cross Country Championships. The 2009 Northeast-10 Conference champion was less than three seconds shy of collecting the accolade, as she ran the course in a time of 22:02.2.

Brustolon finished 42nd overall out of a field of 184 runners. She placed second out of 12 representatives from the Northeast-10 Conference who were in the field.
