Men's Soccer Ranked No. 6 In NCAA East Regional Poll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University men’s soccer team reclaimed a spot on the NCAA Division II East Regional Poll, announced on Tuesday by the conference office. The squad is currently 13-4-1 and has once again been ranked No. 6 in the census. In addition, the Owls knocked off Merrimack in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Quarterfinals, granting them a home game in the semifinals on Wednesday afternoon.
With a record of 14-2-2, Le Moyne captured first place in the poll. Additional NE-10 members include Southern New Hampshire (3) and Franklin Pierce (5).
The championship selections will be announced at 7 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, November 9 via a webcast selection show on NCAA.com.
The Semifinals of the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament will feature the Hawks of Saint Anselm and the SCSU men’s soccer team tomorrow afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Jess Dow Field.
