NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior Megan Caporossi (Northford, Conn.) of the softball team and senior Richard Jackson (New Rochelle, N.Y.) of the men’s track and field team have been named as the Comcast/Southern Connecticut State University Athletes of the Month for May.

Men's Cross Country Ranked No. 3 in USTFCCCA Regional Poll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University men’s cross country team ranks third in the East Regional Poll, as voted upon by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Owls had the week off but remain third in the poll for the second straight week. Only Stonehill and UMass Lowell rank ahead of the Owls in the poll.

Southern returns to action on November 8 for the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional Championships.
