Women's Lacrosse Team Announces 2010 Schedule

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut State University women’s lacrosse coach Kelley Frassinelli has announced the team’s 2010 schedule. The Owls open the campaign on March 8 with a road game against Georgian Court. Southern Connecticut will also have five regular season home outings among its 14-game slate.
After the opener against Georgian Court, the Owls then travel to C.W. Post on March 16.
The regular season home opener is on March 19 against Bentley at 7 p.m. That will be the first of a three-game homestand for the Owls. SCSU also faces Merrimack on March 27 at 1 p.m. and American International on March 31 at 4 p.m.
April begins with two road games – at Franklin Pierce on April 3 and Adelphi on April 6. The Owls host New Haven on April 8 at 4 p.m.
A two-game road swing to Stonehill (April 14) and Southern New Hampshire (April 17) follows for the Owls. The team’s final regular season home game is on April 24 against Saint Michael’s.
SCSU closes the regular season with road games on April 28 at Assumption and May 1 at Saint Anselm.
The Northeast-10 Tournament begins on May 5. Semifinal action is on May 8, with the finals on May 9.
