Men's Basketball Wins 2009-10 Northeast-10 Winter Sportsmanship Award

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University men’s basketball team won the 2009-10 NE-10 Winter Sportsmanship Award on Friday, as announced by the Northeast-10 Conference. The awards program recognizes one team from each of the conference's 23 championship sports that has exemplified the spirit of sportsmanship and generally conducted themselves with a higher degree of integrity, character and class. This is the fourth year the NE-10 has given out this award and the first time the Owls were recipients.
