Women's Cross Country Team Ranked Second In New England Runner Magazine Preseason Poll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University women’s cross country team has been selected second in New England Runner magazine’s preseason poll. This is the highest preseason projection in program history. In addition, the publication selected sophomore Alasia Greibel (Bristol, Conn.) as the No. 3 female Division II cross country performer in the region.

Greibel was an All-Region and All-Conference performer for the Owls in 2009.

The Owls open the 2010 season on Sept. 11 at the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devil Invitational.
