Women's Soccer Team Picked Seventh In Northeast-10 Preseason Poll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University women’s soccer team has been selected seventh in the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference preseason coaches’ poll. The Owls were ranked as high as No. 6 in the region last year and will look to qualify for the league tournament for the second time in the last three years.
Saint Rose was selected as the preseason favorite to win the league.
The Owls open the 2010 season on Sept. 3 with a game against Queens College at Franklin Pierce in Rindge, N.H.
