Women's Cross Country Ties For Third In Northeast-10 Preseason Poll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University women's cross country program has been selected third in the Northeast-10 Conference preseason poll, as voted on by the league's coaches. The Owls were tied with Adelphi for that position and received one first place vote. Southern Connecticut has previously received a No. 25 national ranking and a No. 2 regional ranking by the USTFCCCA already this fall.

Southern Connecticut opens its season on Sept. 11 at the CCSU Blue Devil Invitational.

The Northeast-10 Conference Championships are on Nov. 7.
